Thursday, September 27, we met at Sandy's home for a discussion on Nicholas Sparks' book,
The Lucky One." Sparks books provide compelling reading, characters who are believable, and plots that are often too similar. Everyone enjoyed the book. In
The Lucky One, Logan Thibault finds a photograph of a woman while he is serving in Iraq. His buddy starts calling Thibault's photo "lucky" because he survives some terrible accidents when he should have been killed. When Thibault gets home, he walks from Colorado to North Carolina to find the woman in the photograph.
